AB	En Cusch verwekte daarna Nimrod, die belangrijk begon te worden op aarde.
SV	En Cusch gewon Nimrod; deze begon geweldig te zijn op de aarde.
WLC	וְכ֖וּשׁ יָלַ֣ד אֶת־נִמְרֹ֑ד ה֣וּא הֵחֵ֔ל לִֽהְיֹ֥ות גִּבֹּ֖ר בָּאָֽרֶץ׃
Trans.	wəḵûš yālaḏ ’eṯ-nimərōḏ hû’ hēḥēl lihəywōṯ gibōr bā’āreṣ:

AC	ח וכוש ילד את נמרד הוא החל להיות גבר בארץ
ASV	And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
BE	And Cush was the father of Nimrod, who was the first of the great men of the earth.
Darby	And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.
